No Names Please…!!

For some time now I’ve been perceived by consumers - and increasingly the media - as a commentator on the practices of the hair loss industry. I’m often called upon to provide (as best I can) my unbiased opinion on treatments, products, hair-related appliances, costs and behaviour of companies within this industry.

I like to believe it’s because readers see the authenticity and transparency of my researched articles on my website; providing accurate information on relevant topics. Likewise in consultation - I establish the nature of the client’s condition; what’s causing it, and treatment (if required) most appropriate for that client - whether I can provide it or not. My function is NOT to try and flog someone a $5000 (plus) treatment program ‘package’.

The ‘big two’ multinational hair loss companies (and certain unqualified individuals) see me as an increasing threat to the advertising spin they pay to depict for themselves. Over time I’ve received threats of legal action, financial intimidation, and threats to mount a smear campaign against me.

And whilst I DON’T intend to shy away from highlighting their more odious behaviours - I ask that any comments added to my Blog NOT DIRECTLY NAME these individuals, companies - or those who promote them. They seek to stifle your comments of adverse experience with them by harassing me as the ‘Blog Forum’ for those comments.

In conversations with them the multinationals don’t appear to care that a client reports a bad experience with them - they just don’t want to be named in that bad experience….

Perhaps if they gave people HONEST answers instead of a sales pitch & unrealistic promises they wouldn’t get the bad comments?

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your report, also THANK YOU for recommending all those tests.
From the testing you requested my doctor in Cairns found I was bleeding internally, he sent me to a specialist, who removed a tumour from my bowel. The specialist said I would have had bowel cancer within 3 - 6 months if I had not had treatment. This cancer would have killed me, so indirectly you SAVED my arse! The op was 100% successful.
Thanks again
Mr. G. E.

Dear Geoff,
Great news + I’m very happy to have helped save your ‘arse’! I draw immense personal + professional satisfaction when I help uncover a serious underlying problem for which your hair (loss) is an ‘early warning’ signal.
Very best wishes -
